GREAT LEATHER DRUMSTICK BAG™, made in the USA by Dena Hamilton, Great Leather and Leather Care Specialists in Avon, IL. Designed to last for many years, it is a sturdy all leather custom stickbag for drumsticks, mallets, and other percussion and drum kit accessories.
Many lucky drummers receive their bag as a gift! And it is! So we package it as such. Custom box, tissue, all ready for wrapping in case you are that special gift giver. Or, because it's a treat for yourself (as well as a wise investment).
With each bag we enclose an owner's card of appreciation that has the owner's name, the number of the bag, and identifying number of the chosen hide from which it was hand cut.
Each Great Leather Drumstick Bag™ comes with a personalized laser-cut name tag.
There are several unique features to the Great Leather Drumstick Bag™, which you see rolled up and free standing above. One of them is its industrial strength Velcro™ strapping. (FYI - We've never had to replace Velcro™ on any of our bags, but we've had many other bags sent to us to replace a zipper.) The Velcro™ strap closure is quick, easy, secure, and adjustable. When you close the bag you pull the leather flap over the sticks and cinch them in. When you open the bag, you flip the flap to the back, protecting the drum, and hang it by the perfectly spaced S-hooks (another unique feature.) When finished with your performance you simply unhook it and roll it up again.
The Great Leather Drumstick Bag™ is perfect for just about any drummer. But, if say, heavy metal is your style and you go through a load of lumber at a gig, this is probably not the bag for you. The soft pockets will stretch however to accommodate your own personal number of sticks, 12 pair easily. If you are left handed, just let us know and we'll put your straps on the opposite side so they are out of the way like they are for all right handed drummers.
A very important feature of the Great Leather Drumstick Bag™ is hook placement. The solid brass hooks are designed to perfectly fit over the Tom lugs ensuring a perfect fit with no movement or rattling. Additional brass hooks hang down for quick placement of brushes on either side. The rolled flap and handle are behind the case providing padding and a perfect alignment of the Great Leather Drumstick Bag™ holding all your sticks and gear.
The bag is fully lined on the inside, with the same beautiful leather as the outside. It also has a layer of a non-stretching 3M material that is quilted between the layers, adding strength and controlling the shape. When you open the bag, you flip the flap to the back, protecting the drum, and hang it by the perfectly spaced S-hooks (an important, unique feature.)
When finished with your performance, simply unhook the Great Leather Drumstick Bag™. Pull the leather flap over the sticks, roll the bag up and and cinch them in with the Velcro™ straps.
A wonderfully handy feature of the Great Leather Drumstick Bag™ is having the ability to lay it flat on its back when getting ready for the next gig. Choose your sticks for the gig, slide them easily in and out of the pouch. Flip the bag over, check to make sure you have your drum keys and any other needed items in the front pockets, and in seconds, a quick roll-up and you're ready!
